Pandora-box Apartment

A 65 sqm two-bedroom apartment located in the city centre was designed and built by ROOM+ Design & Build to fulfill the needs of its owner, a young and single professional who would like to live in a contemporary and flexible space. Most of the original walls were removed to enlarge the living area as well as the master bedroom.

The multi-functional room defined by flexible glass doors was the most significant design concept. It is just like a "pandora box" containing all the surprises and an interesting lifestyle inside. When opened, this space is physically combined with the living room as well as the kitchen-dining area to create a big open space used for home parties, entertaining, cinema, et cetera. When the doors are closed, this multi-functional space is easily transformed into a home office or an additional guest bedroom.
